On January 23rd, I decided to order a new authenticator to add to my hacked account and protect it from being compromised once again.

While the account was still banned/suspended I went ahead and purchased it because the process to get an account back is long and I figured why not get it and have it in my hands when the account is unbanned that way I don’t have the risk of getting hacked again the very same day I get the account back.

When I was notified of the last review of my account and it was denied by a blizzard supervisor I emailed sales to cancel the order while it was still in pending. When I made the order there was a small cancel order link, but when I went to check my order history I couldn’t cancel the order anymore and the link was gone.. surprise?

I don’t know because I already have an authenticator for my main account due to the same or similar issues in the past, but since I didn’t have to cancel that order I never noticed the cancel link and I don’t think there was one because blizzard has a new user panel called battle.net and you can add many of their games and use a single log in username and password to all their games. If you have 2 WoW Accounts under the same Battle.net account and you try to log into the game, it will ask you which WoW Account you would like to log in with.

Anyways I’m going out of topic here and I just wanted to comment on the authenticator and the way blizzard didn’t cancel the order. Maybe they like to rip people off and I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem as their customer support forum is full of complaints of hacked accounts and scams from blizzard.

I was going to make a post and maybe will tonight at the WoW Forum, asking what is going on.. I just have to wait for my account to be un-suspended.

The exclusive corehound pet is gay, so small you can barely see it unless you are a gnome. Removing the authenticator will remove the pet as well. But don’t do it for the gay pet.. get an authenticator to protect your account and prevent from going through all this hell with account department and the gm department which are a bunch of non-speaking support that get paid 50 cents an hour or maybe less while the company is making millions and millions of dollars each second.
