UPDATE 09.24.2009! [MapleGeek]Cease & Desist

Dear New Community of MapleGeek,

It has come to my attention that there were 2 spammers already on maplegeek community, one was mentioning the post on maple-news and the other mentioning a fishbowl.

What’s done is done and I cannot revert it back, I already got a couple of the posts removed from some site which they kindly accepted my request, but there’s still a website with the post wrote by Matthias.

I tried contacting the owner “Savage” and he is not cooperating, I don’t really care much if they believe me or not. The only ones that can deny or accept news is Jen and Myself, we were the only ones who had access to all the accounting and donations.

I’m not going to get into deep details, all I can say is that all money spent from paypal comes from my bank account and I work for that money, very hard.

All donations were spent wisely or you would of have noticed, all server payments were done on time and never late!

Server + Forum Licensing + Site Licensing + Forum Skin(s) + Forum Modifications (Some were paid ones) + Server Upgrades (Hardwares) + Server Upgrade fees + Domains (.com & .net) + Domain Privacy + and Much More..

Now you can see that running a responsible server is not cheap and we gave all to run MapleGeek, and with all I mean Jen, Joseph, Peter, & myself.. with the help of our lovely staff team.

This is getting too long, so I’m going to go straight to the point.

I’m kindly asking everyone to please respect the new community of MapleGeek, I don’t belong to MG anymore and I decided to move on, but here is an explanation of how Paypal works for all those confused!

AttentionHow Paypal WorksAttention

When someone uses paypal to pay for a service the money is collected from the paypal account if the amount is present, for example.. If there’s $15 on my paypal account and I buy something for $10, paypal is NOT going to ask if I want to take the money from the paypal balance or my bank account, it will take the money directly from paypal.

Now, that’s where all the confusion came from, all the purchases made show up in the paypal logs and thats because of the reason explained above.

Now, when something needs to be paid for example I have to pay $15 and only $5 is available on the paypal account, then paypal will go ahead and take $10 from my bank account.

The conclusion: Anything removed from paypal was fully recovered from my bank account!

The heads of MapleGeek are now Joseph and Peter.

There’s no need to make hate posts anymore, I don’t read or visit the forum at all! I get some comments by Joseph and that’s why I know what happens in there from time to time.

Thank you for taking your time to read, and I hope you respect the new MapleGeek Community! :)
